You can enroll and begin: FDA-approved Wegovy or Zepbound, dosed to your labs and adjusted over time, billed separately at your pharmacy. Enroll, and the $149 evaluation is credited toward your first month.

If it does not.

We tell you plainly. You leave with your metabolic labs explained, other FDA-approved medications discussed when appropriate, and the habits that tend to move weight.

Is this the same as Ozempic and Mounjaro?
It is the same active molecules. We prescribe Wegovy (semaglutide) and Zepbound (tirzepatide), the FDA-approved versions for chronic weight management. Ozempic and Mounjaro are the same molecules approved for type 2 diabetes. We use FDA-approved medications only, never compounded.
No. We prescribe FDA-approved Wegovy and Zepbound only, with a known dose and a known safety profile. Compounded versions are not FDA-approved and are not part of our practice.
These are medicines for a chronic condition, so weight can return when they stop, the same way blood pressure rises again if you stop that medicine. That is exactly why this is physician-managed. We plan the long game with you, including how to taper and what to hold onto, rather than handing you a script and disappearing.
The common ones are gastrointestinal, like nausea, especially early on. This class also carries a boxed warning about thyroid C-cell tumors, which Dr. Sharma reviews with you before you start. We titrate slowly and stay reachable, which is how most side effects are kept manageable. Not everyone is a candidate.
That is what the evaluation is for. Eligibility depends on your history, your labs, and a full discussion of risks and benefits. Not everyone is a candidate, and we will tell you honestly if this is not the right path for you.
The Metabolic & Hormone Membership is $199 a month at the founding rate for the first 10 members; the rate increases after the founding cohort. Your membership covers ongoing medical management: visits, labs coordination, dose titration, and messages answered personally by Dr. Sharma during office hours. The medication is billed separately at your pharmacy.
This is a real, local program in the East Bay. Labs are drawn nearby, and follow-ups happen across a desk or by video, your choice. You get labs, dose titration, and direct messaging, not a faceless subscription.
Routine messages are answered by Dr. Sharma the same business day. Members receive an after-hours protocol for urgent medication concerns. For anything outside the program, your own primary care physician remains your first call, and in an emergency call 911 first.
